Boy! Today was one exhausting day! Shu., Josh & I wrapped all the presents for Toys On Wheels, a charity drive providing the less fortunate children with toys for Christmas. It was certainly very tiring to sort the toys into two groups: Those that are still in good condition and those that are too cheapskate or too old for giving away. We found that most of the toys were soft toys or free toys from McDonald's.There was even a soft toy monkey from Mrs Tang! That's indeed a surprise for me.

There were two parent volunteers who came to assist us. The one that came earlier was friendlier than the one that came later. She taught us how to wrap the toys with transparent cellophane paper with patterns on it. We had a whale of a time wrapping the presents as we were cracking nutty jokes.

In the afternoon, Hsiao Fong, Christabel & I stayed back to wrap the presents, as the 'new kid in town' had requested us to stay back. But as she didn't tell us where to meet, we went to Ms Sia's desk to ask her.Luckily she was there so we need not run around like goons. Guess what she said"Oh the prefects have wrapped all the presents so you all can go home. Tomorrow if more presents come in, our tell you to stay back." What the hack! I thought. She treats us like doormats, ordering us here and there. In the end, Chris, Hsiao & I stayed back for fun. We first ate something at the canteen and headed to the basketball court to play a game of basketball. And the game ended in a 8-3, which moi team won. Yippee.

Then we went to Coro. I bought a tub of mixed berry yogurt from NTUC. Yummy! We dragged our tired body up to Golden Rooster to have an afternoon snack. I ordered a bag of fries & a Green Apple cooler with pearls. It was sheer bliss to go out with moi chums.
