Two days ago, which happens to be a Friday, I attended the second-last G.B Parade for this year which also happens to be the second-last one for moi coz I'm graduating soon. But since the last time I went for parade, everything or more like almost everything is different- the teacher-in-charge, the volunteer-in-charge of Badgework, the venue and many more which I shall not list.

We started with Singspiration(if that is the way to spell it) lead by the new teacher who wore a colourful hairband jus like a school gal. She is pretty cute but unfortunately she can't sing. She was singing out of tune most of the time that I could not help but giggle. One of the gals most probably Hilary, did not mince her words on the 'new kiddo in town's' singing. She commented loudly "Aiyo! Singing so terrible ah!" Of course I tried to suppress a giggle, but I did'nt exactly succeed in that, so what was supposed to be a giggle turned out to be an awkward rumblin' sound which came from moi parched throat.

To moi utmost astonishment, that 'new kiddo in town' was'nt one bit offended. She jus smiled & shrugged it off.

After Singspiration, we proceded to do Badgework, this time for the 'Responsibility' badge. It was lead by a volunteer from the church (whose name from what I overheard was Sarah). We did a craft about the talents of the members in our respective squads. As usual the loud-mouthed bimbo girl in moi squad whose name is Lesley, made moi life very difficult as the Squad Leader. She refused to tell moi what her talent was so I was unable to finish moi craft and would be scolded by Sarah.

After completing her craft, she complained in a shrill voice that she was bored. And you know what she did? She took out her hp and fiddled with it. Oh and here's the best part of the day. Auntie Fong Yin came along and chided her for using her beloved hp. How embarassing.

After a boring session of badgework, Ms Sia appeared in the G.B polo tee. She flashed a lopsided grin at moi and plonked herself on a plastic chair. Oh how forgetful of me. I even forgot to mention that she's about 6-7 months pregnant.

Yeah um sorry for side-tracking. Um after badgework, Ms Sia gave out the G.B teddies to all the Senior Girls(P6 girls). Hey yep. I was sure included. The Squad Leaders received big teddies while normal members received small, pocket-sized bears. I'm very honored to be given a big teddy bear... All the P6 gals had to give Ms Sia the G.B handshake and take a photo with her. Oh how I loathe photos!

And for the highlight of the parade...... the P6 girls farewell party. It was'nt what I would call a very lively party but I was pretty contented with the food(pizza bun & 2 choc-filled tart). And of course all of us(Chris, Xing Ying, Hsiao Fong, Raq & I) hurried to ask Ms Sia for her MSN address. You won't believe this but we had to 'queue' to speak to her coz all the Junior Girls were trying to you-know-what with her. Ppl like Dione, was not amongst the queue for once coz there was food which was her top priority. Haha that was a good joke. Did cha get it?
