We went visiting yesterday. It was immensely fun to see how my relatives looked after a year. We went to my maternal grandma's home first coz it was jus a few streets down from my home. When we reached there, mum couldn't remember which floor did grandma lived on. She said it was the top floor with the jacuzzi, but insisted that it was the 4th floor. So after a while of debate, we called her house to confirm her unit number. It was the fifth floor! Haha. We were the first to arrive. Before long, Uncle Carl and Auntie Wendy arrived with Craig and Collin. Hey! It was the brand new Uncle Carl. He slimmed down a ton!! He is now lean and hearty. Uncle Burton and family came next. Ethan was cute in his traditional costume. Little Ruthie was bouncy and she was as cute as Ethan. She was indeed 'Biscuit Queen' as Auntie Lynette nicknamed her. She grabbed cookies after cookies from the tray.

The highlight of the day was when Uncle Alex arrived with his new girlfriend, Anna. He was dramatically dressed in a floral printed shirt and Maoi necklace. The funny thing was he had loads of chest hair and a paunch. Hehe. Anna was the opposite of him. She was dressed in a plain white button down blouse and a Levi jeans. She was very chatty and friendlier than Auntie Elaine. But of course Auntie Elaine was the nicest to me last time before they broke up. I wonder where she is now. It did be nice to catch up with her although we weren't exactly very close. Anna is younger and quite pretty. She sure knows how to make grandma like her. She bought a set of cream and scrub for her from Crabtree and Evelyn and even taught her how to use it. Hmm... ... She's real nice to all of us. I can't wait for her to be part of the Chen family!! Haha. I am on cloud nine today coz I received plenty of praises from everyone. Grandma said I'm very pretty and should be ready to join Ms Singapore Universe!! But if you know me personally, (of course you should), I am so far from being the next big thing on the runway. I am the largest klutz u could find and I ain't know how to hide my feelings. I let it show all the time and that's why the class found out about my crush on skipper. And as you know, it wasn't one bit nice. He got a bit touchy the last time the counsellor came and said that he loved us. I mean his face literally turned lobster-red. Oh he made his exit soon after. I naturall felt very embarrassed. Ok. That stuff about him aside. I am supposed to kick the habit. Back to praises. Auntie Wendy said that I looked like a leader in school and asked if I was the chair. I told her I was the vice head of Welfare Comm and everyone wowed and wheed. I didn't feel at ease at all. To much praises for the day if you ask me!

Hokey, bb. I gonna write about skipper in the next post.
