Splash! Swim Carn was oh-so-fun. And yes Tarbet won for the first time in RGS' history. I had a hand in it too!!! We had 259 points and the runner ups are Waddle and Buckle. We came in first for Swim Carn too!! Hooray! We had the birthday celebration in the end coz Kim begged Mr De Souza to let us go on with the party since we had planned it so well and Ivana and her went to get presents and food. It was a tad bit rushed but it was great nonetheless.

Ade, Si Ling and I dashed out of the school to head for the bus stop so as to shake Aldrea off. She keeps following us and we don't like it. When we leave her behind, she will whine and say that we are'very terrible lor'. On the bus, she kept calling Si Ling and even got Celine to call us. Si Ling pretended that we skipped lunch and were on the MRT. Haha.

Lunch at Macs was a hurried affair as we feared that we would be late. But in the end, we got there before 2.10pm. I must tell you about a freak event at Orchard MRT. I was hurrying about to top up my card and all and we met a bunch of weirdos who kept trying to stalk RGS gals. The leader prevented a few upper sec girls from moving and said that he would not take too much of their time. His group of equally weird looking chums surrounded the girls and wanted them to talk to him. They had rings on their chins and more horrid stuff. He didn't come up to us coz I was looking very stern. Phew!

Hmm. About the carn. It was fun and we cheered a lot. My poor choc fudge sundae was ruined by Si Ling coz she stuffed it into a plastic bag when the security guard told her food was prohibited. The plastic bag was filled with slosh and the sundae was inedible( but I ate the remaining slosh anyway). The fries that we 'da paoed' were soggy and tasteless upon reaching Yio Chu Kang Stadium. Sob...

Guess what? Mr De Souza swam for Hadley. His trunks were so colourful that Shyama and Nisha could spot him amongst the crowd. He is a fast swimmer. They teased him about it and he said someyting like ' you will see a rainbow in the water coz I swim very fast'. We were laughing till our sides ache. And Shyama stuck her phone at him and snapped a few wacky pics which are awfully funny. She'll send it to me soon and I will upload it on this post so stay tuned. I asked if he minded me uploading his pics on my blog. He didn't mind if I paid royalties so I will have the acknowledgements at the bottom when I upload the pics.

I spent the first part of the Swim Carn playing 'Disco' on Si Ling's handphone. I played until one battery was left. Heehee. If you want to know what we did throughout the whole event, it is quite obvious. We laughed at some common topic. Up to you to guess what.
