I have suddenly picked up a new passion- writing poems! here are some. Mebbe I can write a complete collection and send it for publication.

Lake of Life

Shimmering blue lake
Reflects tranquil and stillness
Dew dance on green leaves

Ode to 009Oh how your eyes sparkle with humour and wit!
And your dark spectacle intensifies it
Your lips pursed tight to fake a stern look
While your eyes twinkle at its crook

Your presence oozes confidence, ease and poise
And we behold your commanding voice
Your words are gold, pure sacred gold
They make everything put on hold

Your gaze sweeps us off our feet
And causes our body to heat
I look away-your gaze is too strong
I can’t hold it for long

Anthem of Tears
When the melancholy woods weep with grief
And the mourning stream churns the dark brown leaves
When the air does blow a scent of rosemary
And the green hills bow its crown in remembrance

When the meadows mourn in a mood so down
And the grasshopper mourns with a croak of emotions
When Mary, Susan and Emily
Sob their eyes puffy

When the crows peck the ground
And wail like hounds
Come bring your broken heart
To sing the anthem of tears

Fairies in the ForestFluttering around fauna
Flitting across the lawn
Shining with splendour
Above the meander

Oh hail the fairies with a burst of glitter
And a babble of chatter
With grace and poise
Like our revered queen
In fly the fairies
On the call of the trumpets
They glide in gracefully
Like smooth waves on a fine day
On the brilliant carpet of life

In the dark of night
A ray of light
Darts hither and thither
Oh spectacular sight!

Their dazzling frocks billow
Like whales spouting plumes of water
With brilliance and vitality
In each sparkle

They sing like the willows
Melodious and enchanting
Casting a spell of calmness
Over swaying tress and smiling flowers
