“Say ra-ra-ra Raffles! Say ra-ra-ra Raffles!!” Three cheers for RGS track and field! We clinched 5th and 17th for C Div Individual and 8th for B Div individual. Over all, our C Div clinched the 4th place! Yippeee! They did a fantastic job. Our Raffles family also did us proud. It was fun to watch the cross country although they disappeared from our sight for 15mins. (We went to Giant to buy snacks during the little ‘intermission’.) By the way, we were at Turf City. Haha. No horses to compete with lah. We cheered louder the RI and RJC, you know. Wei Ling told us they were pathetic so we had to be louder to cover for them. And we did. I saw many classmates and schoolmates there. Three were in Sports School. I was surprised to see Ivan there. He was a competitor. And ewww… I saw Keng Liang at Giant. Natalie pointed him out to me. I hope he doesn’t jinx me. He still had that same old smug grin plastered across his face. That brings to mind what I did to him during P6. He was seated facing me and so I always pretended to have a muscle pull and stretched my legs to kick him. I still find it amusing when I said to him, “Hey I didn’t mean to kick you. It was just my naughty muscles. They pull very often as you know.” He never found out why my muscles ‘pull’ so often. Hehe. It will stay an amusement in my primary school life. I had loads of food while supporting the marathoners. Yum… I had a Toblerone and Pepsi to chill me out in the scorching sun. Phew. Adieu, gotta figure my Geog WS on Nile River. Meandering down the land of Egypt.
